Plants

I thought I would post something to do with homewear as hopefully over the next two months I will be doing more of these as I'll be moving out for university & I thought I should share the small collection of plants that I have at the moment which I plan to expand on. The first is an air plant which is in a light bulb on a stand I purchased this from B&Q. I just couldn't resist it's so cute! The only issue with air plants is that I'm never sure if it's alive or not (hopefully is) but either way it's a really cute decoration in my room and I love it. My ivy plant is hung from my window sill and is in a plant pot upside down. I love this plant pot so much it's so simple to assemble and looks so cool and interesting as it is so unusual. You can put any plant in the pot but I chose to put ivy in it as I would be able to trail the ivy up the wire which is about 2ft long. I'm really not sure what to do about it at university as I can't exactly drill a hole in my ceiling without them taking my deposit off of me so he may just have to become a regular old ivy plant the right side up. I've wanted a succulent for so long and they're so easy to care for! It just adds a nice interesting pop of colour to my window sill and is in a pretty plant pot from M&S which I purchased with a sunflower in it. It has a little bee on a badge plate and has a shabby chic effect which goes perfectly in my bedroom.
