January 2016 Favourites

My first favourite of the month is the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation which I purchased in December and I have fallen head over heels in love with it. The foundation is long lasting with perfect coverage and works perfectly with my combination skin and is now my all time favourite foundation. This is the first foundation that has matched my skin and doesn't need 5 minutes of blending down my neck as it's the lightest shade the brand does but they don't do any lighter shade problem 101 of being pale.

My second favourite is the book 'The Girl On The Train' I have been meaning to buy this book for many months as I have heard so many people giving the book raving reviews and eventually I went to my local bookstore and bought a copy and from the first page I was infatuated with the story line and the characters. One of my aims for the year was to read more books and this was a great start to this New Year Resolution. The book is gripping and is an amazing thriller and just really has you guessing at every turn and I truly recommend this book to anyone.

My final favourite is Nyx's Soft Matte Lip Cream I received two of them as Christmas presents and I have worn them every single day. They are beautiful colours and extremely pigmented and leave your lips with a beautiful non-drying matte/velvet finish. The colours that I own are in Stockholm and Copenhagen and they are both beautiful colours with one being a pretty pink and another being a subtle nude and really suit the shade of lip colour I wear. They also have many other colours and are sure to have one that will suit everyone.
